When I woke up in the morning, it looked like it would be
thunderstorms today. But, the clouds fortunately cleared off before
too long, and the rest of the day was another clear and sunny day.
Heeten made blueberry pancakes this morning before we started
hiking :). We also filled up on water since we heard that there wasn't
much water for a long stretch.
The trail today was nice. It was well graded and went through rather
diverse forests. There were a couple views, but it was primarily a
forest walk today.
I have now completed over 40% of the trail!
Every time I caught up to Heeten and my dad, I stopped for a bit and
read my book. I was hoping that by hanging back I would have a better
chance of seeing a bear. But, still no luck.
